Areafans is run by Black&Tan Labs, LLC, an Illinois company. These terms are an agreement between you and us.
Areafans helps you set a gameday (a game, a place, and the people you're with) and share it with your crew. It's not a booking site. We don't take reservations, and we don't handle money.
You need to be 18 or older to use Areafans. Keep your login to yourself. You're responsible for what goes out under your name: your display name, your gameday titles, your notes, anything you write.
No harassment, threats, hate, spam, impersonation, or scraping the product. We filter usernames, display names, gameday titles, and notes before they go live, and we can remove anything that breaks these rules or the law. No explanation owed.
You own what you write. Posting it gives us permission to show it to the people you shared it with, so the gameday actually works. That's the whole grant. We don't license it out, and we don't use it to train anything.
Some gamedays reference real places. We didn't build those listings and don't guarantee they're accurate, open, or right for your crowd.
Bars and venues are their own businesses: their premises, their rules, their age checks. If you're drinking, drink responsibly.
Team, league, and school names (and their colors) appear here because that's who fans root for. We use them to describe your fandom, nothing more. Areafans isn't affiliated with, sponsored by, or endorsed by any team, league, or school.
We built Areafans to work, but it's software, and software breaks sometimes. It comes as-is, with no warranties, express or implied. Black&Tan Labs' liability is limited to what the law allows.
We can update these terms. When we do, we'll change the date at the top. Using Areafans after that means the new version applies.
